Lois Till is the author of gripping British crime fiction with flawed detectives, layered characters and mysteries that keep readers guessing until the final page. She invites you to step into the darker corners of the human mind, where nothing is quite as it seems.

Her debut novel, Left, introduced Acting Detective Inspector Amber Mitchell, a determined investigator whose instincts are matched only by her refusal to give up.

The sequel, Nothing Left, continues the series with a chilling investigation where every clue raises more questions than answers.

Inspired by a lifelong love of crime fiction and the psychology behind criminal behaviour, Lois enjoys creating stories that blend tense police investigations with emotional depth. Her novels explore not only the pursuit of justice but also the impact crime has on victims, families and the detectives who carry the weight.

When she's not writing, Lois is a one to one teacher in the private education sector and also runs a home-from-home dog boarding business in West Yorkshire, where four-legged visitors provide a welcome break from fictional murder scenes.

Living with rheumatoid arthritis and a cancer diagnosis has strengthened her determination to pursue her passion for writing, proving that every challenge can become part of a new chapter.

Lois is currently working on the next DI Amber Mitchell novel, Almost Nothing Left, and looks forward to taking readers on many more twists, turns and sleepless nights.
